Description of Position

- Locum position for the month of August to cover therapist's leave

- Working hours

Mondays 8-13:00

Tuesdays 8-16:15

Wednesdays 8-16:00

Thursdays 8-17:00

Fridays 8-16:00

- Required to do individual sessions with children

- Required to run Nanny 'n Me groups twice a week

- Comfortable with seeing children with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Developmental Delays, Learning Difficulties (such as ADHD and visual perceptual challenges)

- Knowledge of Ayres Sensory Integration and/or DIR

- Own transport is needed to travel to schools and homes. Areas include Bedfordview (mostly), Modderfontein once a week and Benoni once a week.

- Treatment notes to be completed daily on Special T app for all sessions completed, parent meetings and school visits.

- Diary to be up to date daily on Healthbridge platform. Therapist is not required to complete the billing.

Remuneration

- A set salary for the month of August

- Phone with airtime and data will be provided

- Work email will be provided

After August, should there be the possibility of staying on full time with the practice, these are the requirements:

- Therapist is a good fit for the therapy team (therapist is happy with the working environment and team is happy, therapist has demonstrated ethical behaviour, treatment and billing)

- Therapist is an independent and organised worker who has all admin completed on time

- A caseload is being built up for this. Should this be sufficient at the end of August, then a full time position can be discussed. Alternatively a part time position can be discussed.

- Therapist is willing to work on a Saturday (and 4 days in the week, with a day off)
